We were working pretty hard on Election Day when we heard screaming emanating from the streets. Chants of “USA! USA!” bounced around the office, sneaking in through our open windows.

So I ran to the street to get some video so you could see it

Saturday marked the return of Michigan Football to Ann Arbor and ushered in U-M’s Rich Rodriguez era. Some fans were optimistic, but most just sounded curious to see what RichRod had in store for the storied Big Ten program.

Why else was the day so important? Because we re-launched Michigan-Football-Parking.com!!!!

We’re posting parking updates for Michigan Stadium throughout the year, and plan to post Wolverines news as well. You might even find photos of yourself on our Flickr feed if you attend one of the football games.

Here’s a look at the crowds crossing South Main Street to Gate 8 of Michigan Stadium.

We also caught a quick show outside the stadium – a guitar player belting out “Brown-eyed girl.” What do you think?
