Shawn Smith’s web ninja life

The Reddit founders Alexis Ohanian and Steve Huffman visited Detroit during their North American Drankkit tour (meetups with Reddit users that coincided with the pair’s meetings with advertising execs).

My co-workers and I headed down to Detroit to hang out and meet the guys behind the social bookmarking service. Off of a huge buy by Conde Nast last year, the Reddit guys footed the bill for our entire group and even bought my grilled cheese sandwich.

They humored me later in the evening with an interview (after I had drinks of Dom and a couple Boddington’s). Too bad my questions weren’t the greatest, but check out what they had to say – Reddit’s thoughts on New Media.
