in another stroke of genius, the mother of a U.S. soldier killed in Iraq, the quack that got national exposure for camping outside the Crawford Ranch until she spoke with the president, the heartless woman who is cashing in on her son’s death to get a whirlwind tour of the u.s. and im sure a book deal, well she came up with a brilliant winner for us all.

I love scary movies, really, i dig them. Because the fact is most of them turn out to be more of a comedy than anything else. Except for one – The Shining. That movie has always given me the creeps – perhaps because i grew up in a haunted house similar to the one in the movie – except way way smaller and with more blood and ghosts.

But I dont know if i can be scared anymore, not after the shining: redux has been released.

so just sit back and enjoy the trailer- and see yourself become a little bit braver – like ME!

Let’s face it, spelling is hard, and remembering what every word means can be even more difficult, and online dictionaries are often slow and cluttered and don’t give me what i need – a straight up bitchin’ definition with speed and class – so it’s about time Object graph was born -

its about time someone got together and made some music – i mean, covered dj shadow’s “endtroducing” – what’s even more sick is that the someones that got together were in high school, and they are band kids – hooray

This is Brian…the guy who made this thing. I have to say I’m psyched that so many people are digging this video. I never thought it would explode on the internet like it did.

To clear some things up, yes, this was an after school group. We were under a serious time crunch to put this together, and it was the closing chart of a 6 song concert. I think, in total, we spent 8 hours rehearsing the music.

Here’s something else interesting, not all of these kids were high schoolers. In fact, the timpani player was an 8th grader!

So…yeah, I’ll be the first to admit that the beats are somewhat sloppy at times. It was not a perfect performance, but I feel these kids put a lot of time and effort into the piece. You can slam it if you want, make fun of me, tear apart the arrangement or the sound/video quality, but please…lay off my students.
